Bunny Snuggles Co. grew from Hannah’s love of creating, giving, and making people happy.
Hannah is autistic, and connecting with new people doesn’t always come easily to her. She genuinely wants to make friends and talk with people — sometimes she just isn’t sure how to begin. Creating and sharing her jewelry gives her a starting point. It gives her something she is proud to show someone, something to talk about, and a way to let a little bit of herself shine through.
And if you know Hannah, you know she loves to give. She is constantly making or finding little things to give to people simply because seeing someone happy makes her happy. That spirit is a huge part of what Bunny Snuggles is about.
This little business is also helping Hannah build independence and confidence while learning real-world skills — working with money and budgets, keeping track of supplies and inventory, planning what she needs, interacting with customers, and seeing a project through from an idea to something another person can actually wear and enjoy.
Most importantly, it gives her something that is hers — something she can accomplish, take pride in, and share with other people.
Bunny Snuggles Co. is a family project, but Hannah is its heart. 💗
A Little Family Business
Bunny Snuggles Co. is the newest chapter in a creative family that started with Sew Da Kine, Jessica’s handmade bag business on Hawaiʻi Island. Years of sewing, designing, selling at local events, and creating for other people eventually made room for something new: helping Hannah discover what she loves to create.
Today, our shop brings those worlds together — Hannah’s handmade jewelry, our custom creations, and Jessica’s original Sew Da Kine sewing patterns — all created and shared from our home on Hawaiʻi Island.
